Glitz Boutique Hotel in Bangkok Review - Patpong's Newest Guest Friendly Hotel

      The newly opened Glitz Boutique Hotel is located in the red light district of Patpong in Bangkok, one of the city's most popular tourist attraction famous for it's go go bars and lively night market. It's also one of the few guest friendly hotels in the area where guests are able to invite a companion back to their rooms without having to pay a joiner fee.

      Glitz Boutique Hotel is located on Surawongse road near other popular guest friendly hotels such as the Tawana Bangkok Hotel, Rose Hotel and the Montien. It is within 5 minute walking distance to one of Bangkok infamous red light district called Patpong. But don't let the seediness scare you off. Patpong has been officially deemed as and "Entertainment Zone" by the Thai government. You'll find all types of tourist and travelers exploring Patpong as well as the popular night market.

      Upon entering the hotel's ultra chic lobby you'll begin to feel the attentive and warm customer service. There are only 14 rooms available with plenty of staff to take care of guest requests. It's one of the benefits of staying in a smaller sized hotel. The Glitz is just a short hotel, only 4 floors. One drawback is that there are no elevators, though there are plenty of helpful staff to help carry your luggage.

      All the rooms are well appointed and very modern since they only opened their doors for business in the middle of 2009. The king sized beds are comfortable and the LCD flat screen televisions are wide with plenty of satellite channels to keep you occupied from a hard day of sightseeing. Though the room size is quiet decent, the bathrooms are a bit small.

There are a few really good in room amenities such as a personal safe, free Wi-Fi and LAN Internet access, electronic key card access and of course air conditioning.

      The Glitz Boutique Hotel is a perfect place to stay for exploring Bangkok. It's within walking distance to many massage parlors, restaurants and nightlife entertainment. Bangkok's efficient train stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel, perfect for getting you to other areas of interest and popular tourist destinations.
